January 2021 Wax Melt VIP Unboxing

After the heavy foodie scents from the Christmas period we wanted our VIP members to start 2021 with a nice dose of freshness! The January VIP box had a mix of fresh, light floral and musky scents which filled our members' homes for days, this was also our most popular VIP box for quite some time.

The feedback we received was incredible, lots of our members were loving all of the scents, the most popular was Baby It's Cold Outside which is a scent we originally launched in 2019 and decided to tweak it ever-so-slightly and bring it back again, this time adding it to our permanent collection.

Snuggle was also very popular amongst our members, lots of who compared it to another favourite, Cosy Up, which was a limited edition scent for Autumn 2020.

This month also saw the introduction of a scent we had specifically made for us and is not available anywhere else. We have started to work very closely with a number of fragrance manufacturers in recent weeks in a bid to bring our members brand new, never seen before scents this year. The first of which was our Spiced Oud & Cashmere which is a woody/musky type scent and is simply stunning. Some members compared this with our Autumn Walks scent as it has similar woody notes.

The full lineup for the January VIP box was:

Spiced Oud & Cashmere
A modern combination of dark woods, sophisticated sweet notes and smooth spicy aromas. A light sparkle of citrus contrasts with rich spicy tones of black pepper, cardamom and clove bud wrapped around hints of almond and glamorous floral touches in the heart.

Snuggle
A sweet tropical fruity floral fragrance opening with citrus notes of bergamot followed by fruity notes of peach, apple, coconut and hints of sweet strawberry followed by floral notes of muguet, lily, orange flower and violet with soft herbal nuances on a base of soft woods, amber and musk.

Delicate Petals
A powdery floral accord that begins with lively top notes of bergamot, lemon, raspberry, rhubarb and apple.  It descends into a heady heart of violets, jasmine, ylang, lily, rose, geranium, hyacinth, carnation, clove, balsamic berries and sweet powdery nuances.  At the base, notes of orris, vanilla, musk, amber and sandalwood complete the profile.

Baby It's Cold Outside
A fresh scent that blends crisp juniper berry and sage.  The earthy clean smell will remind you of being outside in the brisk air, surrounded by the beautiful changing leaves during the fall with notes of juniper berries, fresh eucalyptus, and sage and a tiny bit of woods, sweet spearmint and dew mixed in.

We've finalised the scents for the February VIP box and are working hard on the other upcoming months.
