Meet the team: Nathan

Nathan joined Cosy Aromas as our Operations Manager back in April and has slotted into the team seamlessly!

Nathan looks after our day-to-day operations and ensures everything runs smoothly and efficiently in the business. You can find out more about him below.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I was really interested in technology growing up and I wanted to do something in that.

Computers weren’t a big thing back then, but we got our first computer when I was aged 10/11 – it was amazing. It was like the forbidden fruit though; I’d have to ask very nicely to use it!

Describe your job in three words

Organised, fun and very messy!

What does your average day at Cosy Aromas HQ involve?

A typical day at Cosy consists of organising everyone and everything!

This is mostly quality control, so ensuring every order that reaches our customers is perfect. I also get everyone prepped and hyped for the day, as well as making sure that everything we need to do gets done by 5pm.

What's your favourite Cosy Aromas scent?

Rhubarb and custard.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

I’ve got three kids, so we tend to take them for days out quite often. When I’m not doing that, I love to unwind and watch the football, or any sports really.

What piece of advice would you give your teenage self?

Don’t settle!

I started my first ever job in 2003 and I stayed there right up until I started at Cosy Aromas. I worked my way up and was very comfortable in my box there, but if I could tell myself not to do that, I would! There’s too much to do and learn in the world to settle where you’re comfortable.

Which three celebrities – dead or alive – would you have to a dinner party?

It would have to be Ryan Reynolds, James Franco and Seth Rogan because they’re all absolutely hilarious.

If you could have any super power, what would you choose and why?

This is tough. I’d probably love a power which would enable me to control my kids..! I know it’s not a normal super power, but it would be pretty helpful!

What’s one thing your Cosy Aromas colleagues might not know about you?

These lot are pretty inquisitive… I think they know everything about me. Or if they don’t know something, they’ll ask A LOT of questions until they do!
