Fresh smell

I bought this and the first time I lit it the smell was fresh and strong, I really liked this and lit it in 5 different areas around the house. Unfortunately the second time I lit this for use the smell had faded and was not as fresh and strong. Not sure if this is common, as I am quite new to cosy aromas?
I plan to try one of the bars this weekend to see if they last longer.
But initial use was great.
