Even during COVID-19, Life is Beautiful

In March 2020, the world was turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. Spreading across countries like wildfire, the UK soon found themselves in the first of many, national lockdowns.

Despite being apart, as a nation we did everything we could to support one another and this was certainly epitomized by the actions of Captain Sir Tom Moore.

Inspired by the amazing work of our frontline NHS workers and in honour of his 100th birthday, he vowed to walk 100 laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS and what started out as a simple fundraiser, became a £39m campaign. In doing so, Captain Sir Tom became a national hero.

It was amazing to see people from across the country coming together to support such an important cause and it was from there, that our limited edition ‘Life is Beautiful’ wax melt came about.

We pledged our support to the cause by donating profits from our limited-edition wax melt and with the help of our amazing customers, were able to donate a staggering £9,000 to the fund.

Fast forward to February 2021, much like the whole nation, we were saddened by the news of Captain Sir Tom’s passing and knew we had to do one last thing to honour his memory.

And there we have it, our limited edition ‘Life is Beautiful’ wax melt is once again back for one weekend only but this time, we are donating 100% of our profits to the Captain Tom Foundation.

The whole team at Cosy Aromas were incredibly touched by Captain Sir Tom and his efforts to raise money for the NHS and it is with an enormous amount of pride that we can donate to his cause once in support, and second in memory.

The ‘Life is Beautiful’ wax melt pod is available to buy this weekend, Saturday, February 27, until Monday, March 1, and 100% of profits will be donated to the Captain Tom Foundation.
